Dallas to host 2009 CoreNet Global Summit April 26-28
DALLAS (February 13, 2009)… Over 2,000 corporate real estate and business location professionals will come together, April 26-28, for the 2009 CoreNet Global Spring Summit. During the three day event attendees will share tactics for dealing with the difficulties of today as well as looking for new and innovative ways to position organizations for growth tomorrow.
“Hosting the CoreNet Global 2009 Spring Summit is an exciting opportunity for the City of Dallas as well as the entire region to convene the corporate real estate industry,” said Mark Gorman, head of real estate for Nortel and chair of the Dallas host committee for the CoreNet Global summit. “As host we will be able to provide approximately 2,000 industry professionals and corporate executive leaders from around the nation and the world the opportunity to experience first hand exactly what the Dallas region has to offer in terms of business development, quality of life, and of course good old fashioned Dallas hospitality.”
The Dallas Regional Chamber worked closely with Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert, the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau and the local CoreNet Global Southwest Chapter to bring the summit to Dallas.
Program highlights include an opening session, Thriving in a Chaotic Economy, by Todd Buchholz Global Economic Commentator and Policymaker, and author of the bestsellers "New Ideas from Dead Economists" and "New Ideas from Dead CEOs"
Closing Presentation, How to Lead your Company Up, Even When the Economy is Down by
Dr. Oren Harari Business Expert and Visionary Author of "Break from the Pack: How to Compete in a Copycat Economy" will take place on Tuesday April 28th.
