The formidable issues facing the City of Dallas in 2011 require the election of a creative, visionary, farsighted Mayor. Our new Mayor must have the skill to create diverse, sustainable city-wide coalitions and cultivate results-oriented consensus among City Council colleagues.
Dallas voters will be asked to select the next mayor in a runoff election on Saturday June 18. The Chamber will host a Mayoral Runoff Candidates Forum on Friday May 20. This forum will be the first opportunity to hear the two final runoff candidates, Mike Rawlings and David Kunkle share their vision for the citizens
of the ninth largest city in America.
Join elected officials, business leaders, and community stakeholders at this valuable public policy forum and hear how the two candidates propose to address the City’s daunting economic, social and political challenges.
